Laykin et Cie sponsors Wattles Mansion Showcase March 23, 2017 - April 16, 2017 in Hollywood, California
Watercolor Painting of Wattles Mansion Circa 1909
Laykin et Cie was proud to sponsor and present a collection of contemporary and vintage estate jewels at the 2nd Annual Wattles Mansion Showcase in Hollywood, California. The theme of the showcase for 2017 was "Hollywood History: The New Classics". Like so many of the fine designers and sponsors of the showcase, Laykin et Cie has been a part of Los Angeles and Hollywood history since it's early days. Selected jewels will illustrate the vital connection been old and new, bridging the design esthetic of early Hollywood with modern classics such as the Laykin Double Row Diamond Bangle Bracelet which was designed in 1959 for Doris Day in "Pillow Talk" but is as contemporary and chic today as it was then. More information on the showcase.
